Artspace and Nasty Women Connecticut are teaming up to present a one-night only live performance of Out There created by the psychedelic art-pop duo Princess. Out There is a sci-fi rock opera that explores the role men are and could be playing in the women’s movement and our cultural reckoning of misogyny. Following the performances, we will hear from Princess and local artists who have roots in New Haven, including Toto Kisaku, David Livingston and Attallah Sheppard.
After the performance and Community Talk Back the organizers invite everyone to stay after and eat dinner with us at Artspace. Persons under 21 are welcome to attend this event, but they must be accompanied by their parent. Everyone will be asked to present a valid ID at the front door. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
